We also used 2″x1″ trim pieces on the sides of the framed shelves to hide the seams/small gap. Simply cut small trim pieces to fill any gaps around or on the sides of your built-ins for any gap larger than 0.25″. WebThe second part would build the actual bookshelves themselves.
