Webb7 sep. 2013 · The scene starts with everyone outside the carraige (I assume this is the game sorting out all the NPC 's and PC on the carraige, which your not supposed to see until after the black screen fades away, so there is apparent lag there). During the approach to Helgen, the cart stops abruptly, backs up, does a barrel roll, then continues.
