The Onondaga Indians, lived here and later were joined by French soldiers and Jesuit missionaries that came from Canada in 1654. Later that year Father Simon Le Moyne discovered salt springs in the area. WebbThis is a very nice interactive science museum for kids, (adults will also enjoy it).. It is one of Syracuse's highlights. There are many fun hands on exhibits,with some downfalls. Sadly, there are also many exhibits that didnt work or were broken.
